These website (www.rootsofmajesty.com) Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roots of Majesty Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us” or “our”) website (the “Site”), including any enquiry, consultation request or booking you make through it, and provide general information about our scalp micropigmentation (“SMP”) treatments, touch-ups and related services (the “Services”). By browsing the Site, submitting an enquiry, or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

  • SMP is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that replicates the appearance of hair follicles using specialised pigments. It is not a medical treatment: it does not cure, treat or prevent any medical condition (including alopecia or any other cause of hair loss), regrow hair, or stop hair loss from progressing.

  • Multiple sessions are usually required to achieve optimal results, and results vary based on individual skin type, scalp condition, lifestyle, sun exposure and aftercare compliance.

  • SMP is semi-permanent and fades gradually over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1–2 years. While we aim for natural-looking results, we do not guarantee specific cosmetic outcomes or longevity, as these depend on individual factors.

2. Eligibility

  • Our Services are only available to individuals aged 18 and above. We do not provide Services to minors under any circumstances, including with parental consent.

  • Before any treatment, you will be asked to disclose relevant medical information (for example, skin conditions, allergies, bleeding or clotting disorders, diabetes or autoimmune conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and use of Accutane/isotretinoin or similar medication) as part of the Treatment Consent & Waiver Form. Please review these requirements before booking, as certain conditions may mean we are unable to proceed with treatment.

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decline, postpone or discontinue treatment at any stage if we consider it unsafe, inadvisable or inappropriate to proceed.

3. Bookings, Deposits & Payment

  • Appointments may be scheduled through our website, by phone, or in person.

  • A non-refundable deposit of $60 is required to confirm any booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total price of the Services on the day of treatment.

  • Full payment for the Services is due on the day of treatment, prior to completion of the session.

  • Fees paid for Services already rendered are non-refundable, regardless of your satisfaction with the outcome.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

  • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to provide notice within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of your deposit. We reserve the right to require a further deposit or full pre-payment before rescheduling.

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, your appointment may be shortened, rescheduled or treated as a no-show, and your deposit will be forfeited.

5. Aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential to healing, pigment retention and your final cosmetic result. Full aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment and in the Treatment Consent & Waiver Form. We are not liable for outcomes caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions, including premature sun exposure, swimming, excessive sweating, use of unapproved skincare products, or picking or scratching the treated area.

6. Photography, Marketing & Your Privacy

  • Photographs of your scalp may be taken before, during and after treatment to track healing, inform touch-up work, and for training, quality assurance and marketing purposes (including this Site, social media and our portfolio).

  • You may opt out of having your photographs used for public marketing by informing us before your appointment.

  • Our collection and use of your personal data is also governed by our Privacy Policy (rootsofmajesty.com/privacy-policy), in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore.

7. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos and other content on this Site are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or otherwise use any content from this Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

8. Website Availability & Third-Party Links

We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. The Site may contain links to third-party websites or platforms (for example, our booking system or social media accounts) that we do not control and are not responsible for.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Our total liability to you arising out of any claim connected with the Services shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for the Services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of income, opportunity or emotional distress.

  • We are not liable for any adverse outcome to the extent it results from your non-disclosure or inaccurate disclosure of medical information, your failure to follow aftercare instructions, or the inherent nature of SMP as described in Clause 1.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the Site. Continued use of the Site after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
