You confirm that you are voluntarily undergoing SMP treatment and that the procedure, potential risks, and benefits have been explained to you in detail.
1. General Information
1.1 These Terms govern your use of our website (www.rootsofmajesty.com) and any services provided by Roots of Majesty, including Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).
1.2 By booking an appointment, submitting a form, or purchasing a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
2. Service Details
2.1 Roots of Majesty specialises in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to replicate the appearance of hair follicles using specialized pigments.
2.2 The treatment typically requires multiple sessions to achieve optimal results.
2.3 Results may vary depending on individual factors such as skin type, scalp condition, and adherence to aftercare guidelines.
2.4 SMP is designed to fade gradually over time; touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years to maintain the look.
2.5 While every effort is made to ensure natural-looking results, perfection is not guaranteed due to individual factors.
2.6 Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to treatment.
2.7 Clients must follow all pre-treatment instructions provided, including washing the scalp before the appointment.
2.8 Failure to follow pre-treatment guidelines may impact the outcome of the procedure.
3. Booking and Payments
3.1 All appointments must be scheduled through our website, phone, or in person.
3.2 A non-refundable deposit of $30 is required to confirm your appointment. This deposit will be applied to your final bill.
3.3 Full payment for services is due at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1 Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid forfeiting their deposit.
4.2 Roots of Majesty reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances.
5. Aftercare and Client Responsibility
5.1 Aftercare instructions will be provided following your SMP session. It is the client’s responsibility to follow these instructions to ensure optimal results.
5.2 Avoid exposing the scalp to water, sweat, direct sunlight, or harsh chemicals for the specified period.
5.3 Use only recommended products to maintain pigment longevity.
5.4 Roots of Majesty is not liable for unsatisfactory results caused by failure to adhere to aftercare guidelines or external factors beyond our control.
6. Refunds
6.1 Due to the personalised nature of SMP services, refunds are not provided once the service has been rendered.
6.2 If you experience any concerns with your treatment, please contact us within 7 days to discuss adjustments or follow-up care.
7. Liability Waiver
7.1 Roots of Majesty is not liable for any adverse reactions including but not limited to reactions arising from failure to follow pre-treatment or aftercare instructions. Results vary from person to person and Roots of Majesty does not make any guarantees, representations or warranties on results.
7.2 You confirm that you have accurately disclosed your medical history, including but not limited to any pre-existing conditions and or illness, allergies and current medications.
Roots of Majesty reserves the right to decline providing SMP at our sole discretion, based on what you have declared.
9. Privacy
9.1 Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.2 We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1 Roots of Majesty reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
